Product Description

The Carving Axe (Carpenter’s Axe) is a precision carving tool crafted from high-quality 5160 carbon steel, known for its durability and excellent edge retention. With a hardness of 58–60 HRC, the blade maintains sharpness even during extended use. The 3.35-inch cutting edge makes it ideal for detailed carving, shaping, and fine woodworking tasks.

The handle is made from hickory wood and measures 10.6 inches, offering strength, shock absorption, and a comfortable grip. Weighing 1.10–1.21 lbs, the axe provides excellent balance and control, allowing for accurate, controlled cuts.

This is a fully handmade product, with each piece individually crafted. As a result, the axe may not look exactly the same as product photos. Because natural materials are used, variations in wood grain and color are normal. Minor asymmetries or grinding marks may be present and are considered part of the authentic handmade character—they do not affect performance.

The steel is backed by a 10-year warranty. To reduce the risk of rust or patina inherent to carbon steel, we recommend cleaning and lightly oiling the blade after use. A leather tip protector can be purchased separately for added protection during storage and transport.
